DO NO HARM

This Hunt is one in a grand series of Hunts throughout history, and as in countless Hunts before, Hunters must adhere to a simple set of rules to prevent causing harm to bystanders, or revealing the existence of the Hunt to those who are not fit to become Hunters themselves.

First, no clue or Key will ever be hidden inside private property and Hunters should under no circumstances enter areas where they have not been invited. Keys and the clues that lead to them will always be hidden in publicly accessible locations; nonetheless the general public will never suspect they are in the presence of a Key.

Second, no clue or Key will require destruction of any sort; if you suspect that you must break or destroy something to obtain a key, you are certainly following an incorrect or false clue, and should re-evaluate.

Third, Hunters are an elite brotherhood of people throughout history who live for the thrill of the search. Always show respect for your fellow Hunters, and never do anything to hinder or impede others. If you happen upon a Key and consider destroying it to prevent other Hunters or clans from finding it, know that if I discover such unsportsmanlike behavior that Key and your other keys may be revealed to everyone, destroying your ability to compete in the Hunt.
